The state of adaptation in the USA
In the absence of top-‐down directives, a coordinated national effort, or even
widespread national recognition of the significance of projected climate change
and the urgency of preparing for it, adaptation actions have tended to occur in
isolation and often without recognition or connection to other efforts.
